What is Your Attachment Style?

Is your “best self” defined by how emotionally, physically, spiritually, and intellectually healthy your environment was a child? In many ways, your best self is defined by your upbringing. We can all achieve our personal best, but if I was physically abused, for example, and suffered brain damage, that personal best would be severely limited. Learning about attachment styles–how well we connected with our primary caregiver at childhood that carries into our adulthood–is important to help us break past limitations in our lives. Here is a presentation I gave for International Children’s Care where I shared information and stories to help us learn more about attachment styles. May you understand them well and help yourself and others to heal!
