Want Success for your family?

If you are conscientious human being, you will want the best for yourself and for your children. Wouldn’t anything short of this goal seem as a betrayal to your family’s best interest?
While we may have our family’s best interest in mind, as circumstances would have it, our lives are many times far from ideal, and our children many times far from receiving the best. It’s not that we are betraying our families, it’s just that we are limited human beings. How do we pursue God’s ideal for our children in an imperfect world? Allow me to suggest that we begin by understanding what is possible–through God’s eyes. “What is impossible humanly is possible with God” – Luke 18:27
I believe that no matter what your family circumstances are, you can offer the people you love your best. With Jesus Christ as the One who empowers you, you can reach the summit of giving your family the best possible.
- Speaking of summits and mountains, who doesn’t love the idea of at least seeing them? Mountains, like Mount Everest, are grandiose examples of our life’s journey. We are all trekking to the highest possible point of reaching our fullest potential. Whether or not we feel like failures and whether or not we are looking down instead of up–if there is any sanity left inside of us–we know that we are created to be meaningful, and we will want to elevate toward success–individually, and with our families.
Highesteducation.org is a heart-full contribution to the larger whole in the collective effort to encourage parents, educators, and youth ministers to raise godly children. By godly I mean successful in every way–physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually–after Christ’s example. I hope to inspire you through the beauty and awesomeness of mountains to embrace God’s thoughts for you and your young people. In the words of a famous christian writer, “Higher than the highest human thought can reach is God’s ideal for His children.”
May we have the strength and wisdom to take our families, one step at a time, to the top!
