Secrets for Successful Leaf Composting & Loving Your Child

When in doubt, go back to the basics! Soil that is used has its nutrients depleted from it. It needs new nutrients put back into the soil through compost. Similarly, children who live in a broken world need constant infusions of spiritual nutrition. That nutrition, like compost, needs to be laid on top of the fertile soil of their souls, so that the nutrients can seep into their lifestyles.

The home environment, which is the child’s native territory, is the primary place where children and youth thrive emotionally and spiritually. Yes, families need other sources to help them feed their families, but parents don’t leave their children to the mercy of a “general store” to feed their children. They take personal ownership and leadership in what goes into the house and into the children’s development.

Highest Education is a partner with parents, encouraging family-units to be the primary source for faith development. Have experiences like learning how to compost yard-waste are wonderful to give us hands-on service and family centered learning.
