Race to the Ponds!

God gave us a sunny day to visit the Wildlife Botanical Gardens.

The gardens are a cohesive blend of ten specialty theme gardens, spread over three acres. We walked the garden paths, taking photos of flowers and plants that we especially liked. But the kids kept wondering, “when are we going to the ponds?”

The ponds full of bullfrogs and other aquatic life was the real draw for the kids. They ran around those pond several times, trying to catch something–anything! Meanwhile, parents talked with each other. “The end of the regular school year is coming, what special event will we do to close it off?”

I love this newly formed co-op! Stay tuned for upcoming events. Better yet, join in!
