Pray for the Holy Spirit to give you victory today:
True happiness will be the result of every self-denial, every crucifixion of self. One victory won, the next is more easily gained. Had Moses neglected the opportunities and privileges granted him of God, he would have neglected the light from heaven and would have been a disappointed, miserable man. Sin is from beneath; and when it is indulged, Satan is enshrined in the soul, there to kindle the very fires of hell. God has not given His law to prevent the salvation of souls, but He wants all to be saved. Man has light and opportunities, and if he will improve them, he may overcome. You may show by your life the power of the grace of God in overcoming. (4T 345)
Dear Heavenly Father,
You are the God of the little, of the seemingly insignificant. You are concerned about a sparrow that falls out of its nest and my pettiest worries and disappointments. You call me to be faithful in the small things before You trust me with the great. And You want me to have victory over all sin, for no transgression is trivial or inconsequential in Your sight. All of it is odious to You, and I want to hate it, too!
So, I choose You today, God!
I do not want Satan to have even a toehold in my soul. He gets nothing, Lord, absolutely nothing!
Please pull down strongholds, cast down my arguments–the ways I rationalize, the excuses I make–and every high, arrogant attitude that exalts itself against You, and bring EVERY one of my thoughts into captivity to the obedience Christ had through You while He was here on earth. Like Jesus, I want to deny myself! I want to die today and be resurrected a new creation!
Help me today to obey in the little things, to take the small opportunities You have given me, and when temptation comes my way, help me to remember to cry out to You for Your promised way of escape. I so, so desire to savor Your overcoming grace in my life—so I can have victory after victory. Increase my faith, Lord, for I want to lean on You in every situation! And please, “restore to me the JOY of Your salvation” which comes in the wake of being totally right with You! Make me a good witness to others today!
Thank you, dear Lord, for Your grace, which is sufficient for me, for Christ’s strength which is made perfect in my weakness. I ask this in HIs precious name, BELIEVING Your promise that I will receive what I have asked for, Amen.

Praying you have FULLNESS OF JOY today!
