Memorizing Scripture with the Scripture Memory App

The Bible Memory App is the only complete Bible memory system that makes it easy for you to memorize, organize, and review verses. You can memorize Bible verses fast by actively engaging 3 separate cognitive areas: kinesthetic (touch), visual, and auditory memory. The Bible Memory App is known by different names, but they point to the same app– BibleMemory.com, Scripture Typer, BibleMemoryPro, and ScriptureMemoryBible.

Discussion Questions:

  1. In the information era you live in, is memorizing sections of a text a lost practice? Why or why not?

  2. Have you practiced scripture memorization before?

  3. What are some traditional ways people organize the scriptures they memorize?

  4. What are some benefits of memorizing scripture?

  5. If you already practice scripture memorization, what process do you use–how do you keep track of them, when do you usually do it, what versions do you use, etc?

  6. If you don’t practice scripture memorization, can you imagine developing a scripture memorization habit?

  7. How can both of you help each other in this practice?
