"Who is more foolish, a child afraid of the dark
or the man afraid of the light?"

Our job as parents is to not be afraid of what our children can do through Christ, so our children can learn to not be afraid of their fullest potential.  Little kids and teens CAN do big things. They can handle adult knives when properly trained. They can be responsible and mature within their sphere. They can say yes to Jesus and no to the Enemy.

It is through family-based learning, through small-group learning, through experiential learning, that kids learn best. The beautiful thing about Adventure Days is that there is a field-trip style learning experience every week! Learning by doing is not something we have to put into our schedule, it is our regular schedule.
