Oregon Coast DeLight Tour

September 19-21, 2025

Join us for an unforgettable journey along Oregon’s rugged coastline—where crashing waves meet ancient forests, and your heart meets the Light of the world.

Friday, Sept 19

If you are riding with the group, we’ll begin our journey near PDX. If you are driving yourself, we’ll meet at 10 am at Ecola State Park for forest hiking with views of Haystack Rock. We’ll enjoy lunch at a local diner, then head to Twin Rocks Natural Site, then to Drive to Cape Meares Lighthouse. Hiking past unique trees to the lighthouse will be fun! From there we will drive to Cape Lookout State Park, where we will set up camp. We’ll share a meal together, hike the lookout, and take in the sunset views!

Overnight accommodations: You may book a hotel near the campsite as you wish.

Sabbath, Sept 20

After a good breakfast and worship time, we will drive to Lincoln City’s Fall Kite Festival. It will be fun to see hundreds of kites in the air! From there, we will hope on board for a whale watching cruise. We will end our day at Beverly Beach State Park, where we will set up camp and have supper and worship together.

Kite flying: Bring your own kite if you want to fly one!

Sunday, Sept 21

After a good breakfast and worship time, we will drive to Thors Well, then to Heceta Head Lighthouse, one of the best Oregon lighthouses to visit for its stunning scenery and historical significance. We will also Hike Cape Lookout and the Hobbit Trail. From there, we will enjoy one last meal together before returning home.

Tip: Bring binoculars to get a better view of faraway objects!

A DeLightful Weekend

In three days, we will visit 10 natural wonders, two lighthouses, watch for whales by boat, camp together, hike 10+ miles, fly kites, share eight meals, and travel 66 stunning coastal miles. Whether you want to chase sunsets, snap photos, or just soak in the salty air, the Oregon Coast–and the Creator of it all–is calling your name.

to spark your faith

Most spiritual retreats focus on the battle. This one celebrates the victory. Not because of what we’ve done, but because of what Christ has already done for us—goodness, joy, and freedom are already ours. This retreat is about living in that truth.

For all ages

Register early to secure a place with the group. Whether you’re flying solo, coupled up, parenting pros, or wise with years—everyone needs a little God-and-nature time with good people. Come join the fun!
