When the co-op group visited an assisted living facility, the smiles and appreciation in the faces of residents was simply sweet. (The facial expression of a resident’s cat, however, was wildly different. He gave us an eye-rolling, nauseated, “why are you bothering us” look. Good thing we weren’t visiting him)!
Jesus came to this earth to visit humanity–And to save us from our sins. When we take the time to visit people in their trouble, it reflects what Jesus did for us. What a privilege it is to be Christ’s hands and feet in this world!
