When strollers go into three-wheel drive, you know there are tough moms in the group! One mom described this week’s Adventure Days as “Fall, forest fresh air and fun in fellowship with friends!” Thanks Mira for that fabulous description!
The group adventured into the cougar trails, eventually finding Mill Creek and the historic cabin site. Amidst the heritage orchard of plants, fruit trees, and other stocks from several well known and historic homesteads in Southwest Washington, the kids played a tag game called Waldensian hide-and-seek. It was excellent role-playing to prepare young minds to stand for Christ even when they have to deliver the Gospel in secret.
Next week’s adventure will take us to the heart of Vancouver for an urban forest classroom experience. It will be another educational event for kids of any age! Hopefully you can make it!
