As they walked nonchalantly down the trail, parents chatted about life and family.

The moms came to an opening in the trail where a shelter is. There they realized they did not know where most of their kids were.  But after asking one of the older boys where the kids were, the following happened–watch the video!

Filming the impromptu “We lost our kids” parody was fun for Parents and kids at Adventure Days. So was a game of softball with our own rule variations.

  1. We create the teams by counting off, no by picking from the best-skilled on down.
  2. There are no strike outs. Every batter gets to swing until they hit the ball and run to first base.
  3. If the team on the field can’t get the hitting team out, they get to come in to bat after a reasonable time. Everyone plays!

Adventure Days is giving us the opportunity to give our kids solid P.E. time, good socialization, and the freedom to create activities that line up with God’s values and that just make sense. Softball is more enjoyable when kids get to really play, no matter their age and skill level.

Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. Everyone should look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Philippians 2:3-4
