Welcome to communion with God and nature.

Theme – River Sanctuary is a weekend spiritual retreat–the other side of the coin of Upstream Camp. Upstream Camp (our weeklong summer day-camp on East Fork Lewis River) is designed to train families to go against the flow; to resist the current of secularism; to be “in the world but not of the world.” River Sanctuary, on the other hand, focuses on flowing with the Holy Spirit. How do we practically let God into our consciousness, into our souls? River Sanctuary will give us opportunities to soak in scripture, prayer, and fellowship through natural worship experiences.

Small Group Format – Because of the property size, only small groups are able to participate in the retreats–4-6 families at a time. This ensures a small group intimacy and format.

Location – The location for this event is at a riverfront property with a 95 year-old cabin. The land is on a residential shared driveway. Please respect all neighbors in the area.  The property has water, power, and the bathroom in the old cabin to use. There are no showers at this time. The address is:

2425 Kalama River Rd, Kalama, WA – From I-5, take exit 32. Drive east on Kalama River Rd for approximately 10 minutes. After you pass a large red barn, continue driving .4 miles to a hidden driveway on the right.
