Loving Others Well
Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.James 1:27
Scripture says that pure and undefiled religion is to care for orphans. William Hurtado is an orphan-care advocate through International Children’s Care (ICC). William helps groups care for orphans in a way that lasts.
Below are options that your church or school can choose to motivate your community toward effective orphan-care outreach. Choose one or several, or engage in your own efforts to save kids!
Church Service Message – William can inspire your church family to receive God’s heart for children, and to take steps in caring for “His Kids.”
Week of Prayer – William can connect with kids of all ages and empower them to do something meaningful through giving. One session in the mornings, (and one session in the evening for boarding academies), can help your youth know God more.
