Living the Dream You Were Meant To Live

Having a really good dream and waking up realizing it wasn’t true—that is disappointing. But having a really good dream and waking up every morning to live it—that is exciting!
Like Martin Luther King said to a crowd of 200,000, “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed…I have a dream today!”
Martin Luther King inspired our nation to dream—and to live it.
A dream is a vision of something good that you want to see accomplished. For example, you may have a dream to see your children grow up to become responsible adults who love Jesus. Your church may have a dream to lead individuals and families to experience spiritual revival.
As a spiritual community, we must dream! We must have vision and faith. There is so much we can be and do through Christ. Like King said in his famous speech, “This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.” And now is the time to make real the promises of God for you and your family. Let us not stop dreaming!
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1,2
And now…how can you maximize your time and your family’s schedule to accomplish the dreams God has put in your heart?
